How Weaves are made
A Weave is a collection of members, not another thread. Create New Thread writes strands. Create Weave adds members in order — Threads, and Relics as members (objects stay objects).

Is New Weave the same as Create New Thread?
No. That mix-up is the honesty leak this model closes. Create New Thread is the strand writer. Create Weave is a collection desk: Add members (published threads, and relics as members). Do not write strand text inside a Weave form. Never “lasso” in the product UI.
Can I create a Weave on this page?
No. Weave Search is discovery. Official weaves (Athena’s Charge, Utin Touchmark) are listed here. Member Create Weave ships on Haven first — not from this search desk, and not from the Thread modal.
Why not a deep link to Haven Weaves yet?
The Haven tool=weaves desk is modeled, not LIVE. Bare Return-to-Haven uses ?stay=1 only. Sending you to a “New weave” control that still opens Create New Thread would repeat the leak.
Who can publish a Weave?
Signed-in members, on Haven. Publish requires at least one member of any allowed type (thread or relic). Guests browse only. Official operator seeds remain a subset of Weaves. Relic Manager “Add to Weave” becomes a real relic member on the Haven+Auth worktree — not on this Hub.
Can a Relic be a Weave member?
Yes, as a member — not as a Thread. Relics stay objects. A Weave can hold ordered Threads and Relics. Apex / related-relic highlight is independent of membership. Echo members are a soft follow-on. External link members are later (P2-2b).
What is a research set?
Opening a Weave should feel like opening a research set: an ordered list of members (Thread · Relic) you can Open. On this Hub the list is read-only for public weaves. Owner reorder / remove / Add members is the Haven desk (not this search page, and not the Thread create modal).
